ASI Babul Saha of Nabadwip PS, Krishnagar PD, has lodged a complaint against Asit Debnath (54) of Prafullyanagar Colony, Ward No 24, PS Nabadwip, Nadia. On April 5, 2024, at approximately 20:05 hrs, following a tip-off, Saha and his team conducted a raid at Prafullanagar near Rail Colony under PS Nabadwip. They apprehended Debnath and seized 11 bottles of “CAPTAIN” country spirit, each containing 600 ML. The seizure was made as Debnath was found to be illegally possessing and selling the country spirit.
