On May 8, 2024, ASI Dibyendu Mondal of Hogalberia Police Station, KPD, led a successful raid following a tip-off, resulting in the arrest of Ganesh Mandal (32) from Baninathpur. Mondal and his team, acting on sourced information, conducted a raid at Rajapur water tank within PS Hogalberia jurisdiction.During the operation, authorities apprehended Mandal and confiscated 19 bottles of “Bengal Tiger Premium” country spirit, each containing 600 ML, from his possession. The seizure was conducted under proper documentation, as indicated in the seizure list. Mandal was allegedly involved in the illegal possession and sale of the aforementioned liquor, lacking necessary legal documentation.
