Prabhat Roy, son of Patit Paban Roy from Mrigi, Both Para, Tehatta, lodged a complaint stating that on March 22, 2024, at approximately 10:00 AM, Nitai Mondal and Gouranga Mondal, sons of Gobinda Mondal from the same locality, restrained him and verbally abused him over a previous dispute. When Roy protested, the alleged individuals assaulted him with fists, blows, and an iron rod, attempting to kill him. Roy sustained injuries and received medical treatment at Nazirpur BPHC.
