Breakthrough in Jaidul Sk Murder Case: Four Suspects Arrested in Goa

Today in a major breakthrough, two teams of Nakashipara Police have successfully apprehended four suspects allegedly involved in the murder of Jahidul Sk. The arrests were made in Goa, where the suspects were located, and they are currently being taken under 8 days transit remand in connection with the case. The arrested individuals are identified as (1) Soban Sk, s/o Chamchachaddin Sk, (2) Chumer alias Sumaruddin Sk, s/o Samsuddin Sk (3) Paimuddin Sk, s/o the late Khodabox Box Sk and (4) Abu Bakkar, s/o Abbas Sk
All four suspects are residents of Gurni, PS-Nakshipara.

The tragic incident took place on the night of April 3, 2024, around 22:00 hrs, when Jaidul Sk was traveling with his wife, son, and Abdul Rauf in his personal vehicle, returning from Bethuadahari Bazar. The murder occurred on the road of Bad-Tehatta village.

In response to this heinous crime, a Special Investigation Team (SIT) comprising four members was swiftly constituted. Led by Mottakinur Rahaman, DY SP(D&T), the SIT was entrusted with overseeing and monitoring the investigation into the case. From the beginning of the investigation Additional SP(Rural) Uttam Ghosh,WBPS, is monitoring the investigation very closely.

The arrests of the four suspects mark a significant breakthrough in the ongoing investigation into Jaidul Sk’s murder.As the investigation progresses, further details regarding the motive behind the murder and any accomplices involved are expected to emerge.
