On April 20, 2024, a blast rocked a jewelry shop belonging to Bhulu Molla in Debgram Ghoshpara, resulting in extensive damage to the establishment. The incident also caused injuries to a staff member identified as Sahidul Islam who was promptly transported to the District Hospital for medical attention. Preliminary investigations suggest that the blast was triggered by a cylinder explosion while Sahidul Islam was on duty at the shop. A specific case has been registered for further investigation. A team from the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) visited the scene today, and unfortunately, the injured person passed away yesterday.
