Biswajit Pal, son of Dhiren Pal from Akrampur, Talikhola, Anantapur, PO-Napara, PS Barasat, North-24Pgs, lodged a complaint regarding a tragic incident that occurred on January 1, 2024. Biswajit’s grandfather, Mukunda Adhikari, was walking along the road from Tehatta towards Palashipara when an unidentified vehicle struck him in a rash and negligent manner.
The impact of the collision resulted in serious injuries to Biswajit’s grandfather. He was rushed to Tehatta SD Hospital by locals, where the attending medical officer pronounced him brought dead. The incident has prompted a case (No.215/24 dt. 26.03.24) under sections 279/304A of the IPC at Tehatta PS, shedding light on the dangers of negligent driving and the tragic consequences it can lead to on the roads.
