Rajesh Mondal (27 yrs), resident of Sathghata Majherpara, PS Chapra, filed a complaint stating that on March 25, 2024, around 11:00 AM, Samiron Biswas and nine others from the same locality forcibly entered his house. The group verbally abused him and then physically assaulted him with fists, blows, bamboo sticks, and iron rods. The assault was allegedly motivated by a land dispute.
