Ajarul Sk (35 yrs.), son of Mustakim Sk from Bareya Paschimpara, PS Palashipara, filed a complaint detailing a distressing incident on March 25, 2024, around 16:00 hrs. According to the complaint, Kalimuddin Sk (60 yrs.), son of Kheder Ali Sk, along with eight others from the same locality, allegedly restrained Ajarul, hurled abusive language, and physically assaulted him over a land dispute.
The altercation intensified when the complainant protested, leading to a vicious attack with iron rods and bamboo sticks by the accused individuals. As a consequence, Ajarul sustained injuries and required medical treatment at Palashipara Rural Hospital.
This incident sheds light on the escalating tensions surrounding land disputes in the Palashipara area, highlighting the urgent need for intervention and resolution to prevent further violence and ensure community safety.
