In a swift operation conducted on March 28, 2024, by Assistant Sub-Inspector Sachin Kr. Das and his team from Dhubulia Police Station, an illegal liquor seller was apprehended. Acting on a tip-off, the police raided the residence of Subrata Ghosh, also known as Choto, aged 28, located in Mayakole Charabattala, PS-Dhubulia, Nadia.
During the raid, authorities seized 13 bottles of “Bengal Tiger Premium” country spirit, each containing 600 ML, from Ghosh’s possession. The seizure was conducted according to proper protocol and documented under a seizure list.
Subrata Ghosh was promptly arrested for the illegal possession and sale of alcoholic beverages. The operation highlights the continued efforts of law enforcement to crack down on illicit activities in the area.
