A devastating incident has shaken the community of Kaliganj, as Jesminahar Khatun, aged 19 and wife of the late Faruk Sovan Sk, daughter of Alimuddin Sk from Bara Itna, filed a harrowing complaint at the local police station. She reported that on April 10, 2024, around 14:45 hrs, her husband was on his way back home from Debagram Bazar, riding his motorcycle.
Tragically, near Shibnagar under PS Kaliganj, their lives were forever altered when a Maruti Omni, bearing registration number WB52M/9368, collided with his motorcycle. The collision, caused by the reckless and negligent driving of the vehicle’s driver, inflicted grievous injuries upon her husband.
He was promptly rushed to Debagram Primary Health Center, where the attending medical officer declared him brought dead.
